How To Shake Off Workplace Stress

For most people, workplace stress is normal. Although stress should not be normal, it is something that many Americans are faced with. Dirk Kettlewell has worked in the corporate world for years and offers a few tips on shaking off that workplace stress.

Exercise. All day long you are doing a sort of non stop mental workout and without mixing in a physical exercise you will not shake off the stress. The health benefits of fresh air and sunshine will have a great effect on reducing your stress levels.

Your breath plays a key role in stress reduction. Try doing some deep breathing to relieve tension in your body. Sitting upright in your chair, breath in for a count of four, hold it for the same amount of time, and breath out for a count of six. Slow deep breaths will having you feeling better in a flash.
